Celebrate Christmas abroad
Go abroad to celebrate Christmas, someplace you haven’t been before. London, Cologne ,Prague and Las Vegas are among the best Christmas destinations. If you don’t have the time or money to go to one of these places visit some other city near you for a change of scenery. This will definitely keep you entertained throughout your Christmas.
Have some outdoor fun
Spend some quality time with friends or family outdoors .Gather up your friends and family ,go to a park and have a game of soccer, baseball or whatever sport you prefer. Hiking is also an option if there is a mountain or hill nearby and if the weather is tolerable.
Play in the snow
For those who are lucky enough to have a white Christmas, there is no shortage of outdoor fun.
Make a snowman, have a snowball fight, go sledding or skiing and afterwards when you’re all cold and shivering, you can huddle up near the fire with your loved ones.
Eat out
If you are a foodie then why should Christmas be an exception .Go out for lunch and dinner to someplace classy and Christmassy with your loved ones. Take in the holiday spirit and the Christmas decorations.
Enjoy the Christmas decorations
Get busy decorating your house for Christmas .Put Christmas lights on your house. Hang mistletoe in the doorways, hang a homemade wreath on your door, or put Christmas figurines like Santa or Rudolph out on your counters.

Watch a movie
If you are not the outdoors type, stay inside and enjoys a movie with your loved ones over popcorn or pizza. The movie should preferably have a Christmas theme so that the Christmas feels like Christmas and not just some ordinary day spent watching a movie.
Have a family reunion
For those who live far from their family members or don’t have enough time to meet them, Christmas is a fine opportunity for a family reunion. Get cozy with your family members, catch up on gossip and share some delicious food because the memories we have with our families are the ones we cherish forever.
Preserve the Christmas
Christmas memories, like the day itself, are very special and such memories must be preserved. Take photos and make videos of all the happenings of Christmas. Take photos of all Christmas decorations, family members, all the food and record all these special moments in your camcorder so that even when you’re loved ones are far away their memories would be close to you.
Go Christmas caroling
Have a Christmas carol at your home or go door to door. If you can’t go caroling for some reason blast Christmas music throughout your house, while you’re wrapping presents, or during your Christmas party.
An act of generosity
One should always remember that there are many other who are less fortunate and are deprived of the joy of Christmas. It is our responsibility as members of the society to spread joy and hope among such people by giving gifts and spending some time with them. For example you can volunteer at homeless shelter or an old folks’ home. Even a cheerful greeting can bring a smile to their sad faces.
