Forums are great. They help people with similar interests to interact with each other and share ideas. They are very popular too. Most web companies and services have a forum of their own where they could give your information and help to their customers and audience. Forums are especially important for bloggers and webmasters as well, since they help in increasing interaction and building dofollow backlinks. Since this is such a popular concept, there are a lot of forums out there wanting to surface. For a forum, surfacing is as difficult as it is for a blog, but it pays well. As a result, just as some search engines pay you to surf them so they’ll become popular, some forums pay you to use them as well so they can emerge in the industry. Here, we’ll talk about how you can use this to your advantage, and make some money out of it.
On a forum, you could be on either side of the table, i.e. you could be a member, or you could be a moderator (or an administrator if you or your company own that forum). You can earn money both ways.
Earn Money by posting in forums
For forums, getting users is the hardest part. Not only do they have to drive traffic, and retain it, but also to make the people sign up for membership. Most shy away from this. As a result, forums pay people to participate and increase engagement so that more people would be encouraged to join.
To participate in paid posting, all you need to have is a good grammar, and good communication skills. English proficiency is a must. That way, other people will easily understand you and be more willing to participate.
Does it pay?
Now I don’t want to sound very biased, but forum posting won’t earn you tonnes of money. It is just a small method of income. If you have excellent writing skills, you might earn as much as $10-20 per day. Most end up earning cents, and that is because it requires some dedication. The average usually is between $2-10. This is no get-rich-quick scheme, but you can certainly take on this as a part time job.
Most forums pay on a word basis, so the more words you write, the more you earn. But most also have some kind of a limit, such as a post limit, a thread limit, or a word limit. Be sure to check out terms and conditions before applying. Sometimes, it might just not be worth it.
Forums that pay you for posting!
1. ITalkMoney
One of the best forums that pay you! You get between 5 to 25 cents for every post, depending on your permission level. You must publish 100 posts before you can withdraw any money.
2. MyLot
This is one of the oldest such forum. It used to pay out a lot, but that amount has decreased as it became popular. Still, it does give out payments at par with other forums. Payments are made through PayPal, and minimum threshold for withdrawal is $10.
3. WiredFlame
WiredFlame allows a couple of threads only per day, and half a dozen posts. They pay around 12 to 20 cents per post and thread. Payment is made through PayPal.
Earn money by moderating forums
You can also find jobs for comment moderation. There are all sorts of people participating in forums. Some post spam comments promoting their website, while others mis-categorize their posts. Some people post copyrighted material or personal content, while others resort to profane language when arguments arise. In such cases, moderation is required.
It isn’t an easy job. It requires some knowledge of html, css, JavaScript, and other web technologies, and it also takes a lot of time getting used to. But it definitely pays better than simply contributing to a forum. You can find such jobs at websites like Dice.com and Monster.com.

there are many ways to make money but you have to stick to one

Hi Qasim,
Really amazed to know that we can make money by forums as well. I will surely give them a try after getting free time.
