Achieving respectable Alexa ranks for your blog or succeeding in getting few contracts in a month is not what a professional blogger or freelancer aim for. It is bigger – something beyond that. A successful entrepreneur is the one who realizes the fact that there is always a room for improvement and follow all possible steps to reach the level of perfection, which actually doesn’t exist.
It is important to understand that doing an online business with you, as a soul worker is a different story than that of a 9-5 physical office job. You need to use one tool all the time to keep on stepping forward and that is your creativity.
Try to apply the following tips in your daily life and you will see a change in the quality of work you are producing.
1. don’t hesitate Thinking!
The majority of bloggers and freelancers belongs to an age group which have a very low patience level. When it comes to posting on a blog, they just post it, for example, if a breaking news has to posted, the only factor that matters is how quickly it gets published, which is not a right approach,. Timings matter but so does the matter. Always stop, think, judge, analyze and then post.
Freelancers do a bigger blunder. They just need a contract, no matter it pays them in bucks. Taking such contracts that are really not helping you in putting in the real talent is useless to pick. They drag you away from wealth, putting a full stop on your potentials.
Tip: Never hurry about. You are running your business through your brain, and so the time you invest in thinking, is actually a part of your working input. The more you will think, the better creative your work will be. Take time in making important decisions
2. It’s Your Work – why to panic?
Managing your time is what you need to learn before even thinking to get into something professional. People often panic around just because of the reason that they are running out of schedule. My point is what is the purpose of making schedules when you cannot follow it?
When you stress out yourself in meeting up the due dates, your creativity sleeps, trust me on that. Think of submitting some assignment on a very same day, all you will do is to copy it and submit. Where is your creativity in it? it do not mean that you are incompetent, no! its only the fact that you were unable to manage things.
Tip: attend some seminars and trainings on time management and risk assessments. Make a schedule fair enough, knowing how you would follow it. Try to put in the best at all levels, think how you can do a particular thing the other way. That’s all creativity is all about!
I know that it is almost impossible to be calm when you need some whole days to fulfill your schedule for today (sincerely not all the time I respect this tip).
Anyway my effective power is superior when I am very unstrained and I listen to my favorite music (some psychologist consider that the symphonic music is better, but I believe it is more important to like what you are listening to, please let me know your opinion).
3. One mind + borrow Ideas = enhance Creativity
Running you blog all your own is a great feeling, yet there is no harm in asking your friends to share their thoughts on particular subjects. This will enhance your scope and you can then adopt things that you were never aware of.
Tip: always try to spend some time in researching to know more about the topic. Once your knowledge will increase, you will feel a self confidence and the thought itself will affect your creativity positively.
4. Make reading your Habit – stay updated
It has been seen that new bloggers and freelancers just keep walking on a lain – their own work. Don’t forget that there are people out there who are doing thousand times better than you. In spite of considering them as your competitor, why don’t you learn things from them?
Tip: Creativity comes within you, make it a habit to visit blogs and websites of your own niche. See tutorials and try to achieve something from them. This opens up your mind, acknowledging you with updates you could never knew.
5. Don’t be a Workaholic!
People, in love of money making keep on doing work without realizing the fact that they can continue it for not more than 1 month or at most a year! After that, the level of interest drops, making you literally hates your work.
Tip: always take regular short breaks. Don’t stress out yourself as that stops you from being creative. Recreational activities are extremely important to keep your mind fresh too.
Creativity cannot be achieved in a day or two, it require, sometimes ages to understand the factors that will work for you to boost your creativity and – your productivity.
