1. Kerala backwaters
Situated on tropical Malabar Coast, backwaters is a chain of lakes and lagoons which lye parallel to Arabian Sea in the state of Kerala. It has been a tourist attraction since ages and today, houseboat boating is one of the favorite activities of tourists in Backwaters. It is also one of the places that has been given a named “paradises of the world”. 2. Varanasi
With full of religious heritage, Varanasi is a sacred city and there is no other country like this, in India. 3. Ajanta and Ellora caves

4. Virupaksha temple
The city named as Hampi, has always been an attraction for people looking to find out amazing sites of India. Virupaksha palace, that was once only a shrine, is most popular and attractive temple in this city. A small shrine was built in the 7th century AD but eventually grew to a large rooted complex with a unique appearance. The design and structure along with the architectural techniques involved in its creation process are remarkably awesome.
5. Meysore
Within the state of Karnataka, Meysore is one name of beauty and elegance. With maximum number of exciting and amazing places like Ambavilas Palace lie within Meysore that makes it a great contributor in tourism market of India. During ten days of Dasar festivals, Meysore seems to be another world filled with lights and celebrations.
6. Goa
Goa has been bestowed with one of the most beautiful sights in India. The attractions in Goa are undoubtedly the beaches. Goa has around 40 beaches amongst them the famous are Baga beach, Dona Paula beach, Palolem beach, Anjuna beach etc. Beaches also offers water sports like wind surfing, parasailing, water skiing, banana boating etc. Goa also has sight-seeing attractions of famous churches like basilica of Bom Jesus and heritage sites like Shri Bhagavati temple and Chapora fort.
7. Udaipur
Rajasthan is the place for the most scenic lakes, lavish forts and palaces. It carries a tradition beyond colors with amazing art and culture. The lakes are truly exotic with temples built on island like Jag Mandir palace, lake palace etc. There are also many temples which have heritage like Jain temple, Ek Ling Nath Ji temple and Ahar archeological museum.
8. Leh Palace
Leh palace was built in the 15th century by King Siengee Namgyal. It is a treat for the historical admirers. The palace is divided into nine stories of which the upper stories were for royal families while the lower floors were used as store rooms and stables. The palace is now restored and maintained by the government.
9. Kumbhalgarh The Great Wall Of India
In western India, within the state of Rajasthan, lies Kumbhalgarh popular with the name of ‘the great wall of India’. Overextending walls that apparently looks more like The Great Wall of China make people attract towards itself as a tourist attraction. Temples of various religions including Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism lye within the walls and preachers and visitors travel long ways to explore its large area.
10. Meenakshi Aman Temple
The Meenakshi Amman temple is a pilgrim place for Hindus. Nearly 15000 Hindus visit the temple every day. About 33000 sculptures are placed in the temple. The main attraction in the temple is the gateway towers with a height of 45-50 meters, each with a Gopuram statue on top. Each Gopuram is structured with multi layers of stones with figures of animals, gods and demons painted in bright hues.
