Britain is enjoying one of the most historic events today as it has finally gotten its next king been born to prince William and Kate Middleton this Monday, that is, 2nd July, 2013. The news was never that huge before few hours when the couple finally left St. Mary’s hospital with their newly born prince and was overwhelmed by a huge crowd which was already waiting outside the building to show its gratitude and love towards the Royal baby.
Yes, you heard it right; Princes William becomes father of a son who will be the future king of Britain!
The Little Prince!
Been born to a beautiful Royal couple having Prince William as his father and Kate Middleton, the duchess of Cambridge, the baby boy was born on Monday at 4:24 p.m. BST. Weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces, the baby ensures healthy birth and is enjoying a great fame and recognition all over the world. The name has yet not given to him as revealed by father William.
“He’s got a good pair of lungs on him. He’s a big boy, he’s quite heavy. We’re still working on a name so we’ll have that as soon as we can.”
The baby is officially called as the Prince of Cambridge which is an important title not given to any other royal for the last 100 years.
First Look at the new Prince
Just like any other happily married couple, the parents of this new royal soul are extremely happy with their new status that has turned them into mature and responsible people who are in great love with the baby already.
Mother Middleton expressed her emotions and said:
“It’s very emotional and it’s such a special time. I think any parent probably knows what this feeling is like,”
Williams, extremely happy about the new invasion in his personal life said:
“I’ll remind him of his tardiness when he’s a bit older,” said William. “Hopefully, the hospital and you guys can all get back to normal now. And we can look after him. He’s got her looks, thankfully.”
This prince, after the royal parents and family owes a great deal of importance to all the citizens of Britain who welcomed him outside the hospital when he made his first appearance to the world outside. While the couple was leaving hospital, they were greeted by their followers. Been dressed in Blue, the couple look amazingly stunning and happy!
Royal Family Delighted
The news holds significant importance to the entire Royal world and newborn’s grandparents also paid a visit to the hospital to meet their grandson. Carole and Michael Middleton expressed their love towards their grandson; Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall were also seen paying a visit. It was at this very moment that Lady Diana’s presence was greatly missed who would have loved receiving the title of ‘grandmother’ now.
The grandfather of the newly born prince said:
“Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild, It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy.”
While the Duchess of Cornwall added:
“It’s wonderful for the grandfather. He’s brilliant with children so he’ll have a wonderful time.”
Adding more to the happy list of blessings, US president Barack Obama too wished the royal family on the behalf of him and his wife in the following words:
“Michelle and I are so pleased to congratulate The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the joyous occasion of the birth of their first child,” he said in a statement released by the White House. “We wish them all the happiness and blessings parenthood brings. The child enters the world at a time of promise and opportunity for our two nations. Given the special relationship between us, the American people are pleased to join with the people of the United Kingdom as they celebrate the birth of the young prince.”
Planning Baby’s Debut
According to the official announcements, the couple will soon be arranging the debut of their first child which is a tradition of the Royals as Prince Charles and late mother, Princess Diana, did with Prince William.
