Muhammad Atif Aslam is one of the most famous singer, film actor and music composer of Pakistan. Apart from giving this world some of the best songs to listen, he has also given record breaking Pakistani film to the Lollywood cinema called Bol where his acting and performance is marvelous. Bol is the highest grossing film of all time in the history of Pakistani cinema and it has been because of good music composing and acting done by none other than Atif Aslam himself.
He is renowned in singers for his voice belting techniques due to which he was acknowledged the most widespread artist on Saavn (an Indian music streaming facility) in 2013, charted by Arijit Singh, A. R. Rahman, Shreya Ghoshal, and Mohit Chauhan. He is also the youngest beneficiary of Tamgha e Imtiaz which is a Pakistani civilian decoration and honorary award.
Education and qualification of Atif Aslam
Atif Aslam was born in Wazirabad, Pakistan in a Muslim family. His got his basic education in kindergarten at Kimberley Hall School, Lahore. In 1991 he relocated to Rawalpindi where he sustained his education in St. Paul’s Cambridge School, Satellite Town, and Rawalpindi. Atif reverted to Lahore in 1995 where he kept continuing his studies in Divisional Public School, Lahore. He continued headlong to his FSC in Punjab College where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. He married his longtime sweetheart, educationist Sara Bharwana, in Lahore on 30 March 2013.
He also attended his high school in PAF College where he used to play cricket very well and became interested in music. In order to complete his Bachelors in Computer Science BCs he attended Punjab Institute of Computer Science. It was at PICS, Lahore that he came across guitarist and artistic young musician, Goher Mumtaz. This directed to their combine performances at their college and at different diners ultimately pushing the pair into discovering a name for their negligibly fashioned band, which they later named “Jal” means water.
Achievements of Atif Aslam
A few years back he decided to take his music to a more global platform and started his career as a playback singer in Bollywood with the song Wo Lmahey featured in movie Zeher. Since then, his career has been on a major role in Bollywood film industry. He was acknowledged by loud fans and devotees that had fallen in love with the singing of a Pakistani boy. Atif Aslam was the first Pakistani singer to be nominated for the most respected Indian film fare awards two years in a row.
He has been a part of many international projects also and many songs from his first album such as Aadat, Ehsaas and Yakeen were included in the soundtracks of an independent Hollywood venture titled Man Push Cart. This movie went on to win and being nominated in 8 international awards and 7 further nominations which is a great achievement, victory and success for Atif Aslam in such a young age.
