Previously, we have discussed how webinars are important for your business, and how you can promote them to make more money. Webinars are a little used, but very effective way of generating leads. They can be used for educating people and branding yourself to generate traffic at the same time. All you need for a Webinar is a good webinar hosting service. You don’t wanna be left behind by your competitors. Just set up a webinar right now! Here are the top 10 webinar hosting services that’ll get you started.
GotoWebinar is one of the best webinar hosting services. But it can be somewhat expensive for small businesses. They charge $100 per month for up to 100 attendees. For less than 100 attendees, the price is $49. But if its your first webinar, then you can host it for free, since there is a 30 day free trial!
iLinc provides a wide range of services from Webinars to call conference to e-learning and meetings etc. They too offer a 30 day free trial. iLinc is one of the most easy-to-use service for webinars.
Another really easy to use service. They offer many price plans, all of which include unlimited events and at least a 100 attendees. The basic plan costs just $47, which is a better deal than GotoWebinar. But instead of a 30 day free trial, they have a 21 day trial for only 41.
Formerly Freebinar, AnyMeeting is one of the best services when it comes to value. Although there are paid plans, you can sign up for free forever, and hold as many events as you like with up to 200 attendees! Use this if you don’t want to spend money on a Webinar!
Now here comes the big guy. IBM now provides a lot of web services, including a webinar. Although event subscriptions start at $99, you can get a free trial for 30 days! And they also have a free one-on-one option for desktop sharing. IBM is no doubt one of the most reliable services around.
Microsoft Live Meeting is another very reliable and high quality service. It starts at $4.5/person for one month. And standard subscription allows up to 250 participants. As with most other services, you get a 30 day free trial.
With pricing starting at $29 per month, and free trials without having to give out credit card information, this is another great value for money service.
These guys are in a category all their own. As I view them, they are a webinar platform, but one that offers major tracking capabilities. You don’t conduct live meetings with them, but create the material and then allow people to consume it as they want, on-demand. You can then see what and how your attendee uses and moves through the content. Sort of like Slideshare, on steroids.
9. Mega Meeting
It is a high end web conferencing platform that offers a standard subscription that’s good for small business. They also offer the software for purchase and use on your own servers. It comes at a high price point, but if your business depends on webinars it might be worth a look. Offer a free trial and then plans start at $45/month for up to 3 users.
There are times when you don’t want all the screensharing and video options and just need a conference calling option, so I’ve included one that looks pretty dependable and robust. Also, you may have some screen sharing capability and only need the phone portion. This would be on to look at.
That concludes our top 10 list. Feel free to suggest any more great webinar services, and share your experiences with them in the comments below!
